Wendy Daniels is a professional development specialist and instructional designer dedicated to empowering educators through impactful coaching, literacy development, and effective professional learning communities (PLCs). With extensive experience in instructional coaching and curriculum design, she works with administrators, coaches, and teachers to implement research-based strategies that improve student outcomes.
Along with being a Solution Tree PLC at Work® associate since 2022, Wendy has been a featured presenter at national conferences, including the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Personalized Learning Summit. She specializes in designing proficiency scales, purposeful assessment design, and utilizing leading and lagging indicators for school improvement. Wendy’s expertise extends across preK–12 education, with a strong focus on early childhood literacy and instructional coaching.
Recognized for her ability to balance approachability with high expectations, Wendy’s consulting style is described as knowledgeable, goal-oriented, and collaborative. She has earned praise from administrators and educators for her ability to ask critical questions, build trust, and guide teams toward sustainable improvement.
Her work has been instrumental in supporting schools with instructional rounds, job-embedded professional development, and literacy frameworks that align with best practices. Wendy holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Regis University and a master’s degree in instructional design from Western Governors University. She has also completed intensive training with Jim Knight’s Instructional Coaching Group, further refining her skills in supporting educators at all levels.
