Will Remmert, an elementary principal, consultant, and doctoral student in the Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development PhD program at the University of Minnesota, works with educators at all levels to implement proven practices designed to enhance student and professional learning through the Professional Learning Communities at Work™ and RTI at Work™ processes.

With over 20 years of experience as a teacher and administrator at both the elementary and secondary levels, Will has been instrumental in leading his staff to adopt a collaborative culture focused on improving student learning for all. His work led Washington Elementary to be recognized by AllThingsPLC.info as a model PLC school, as well as earning the unique distinction of Reward School by the Minnesota Department of Education for ranking in the top 15 percent of Title I schools in the state.

Will’s doctoral work centers on the impact of school culture, professional community, leadership, and belief ideologies for improved student learning. He holds an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Minnesota State University-Mankato and a master’s degree and an administrative degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
