Rhonda Parmer
Dr. Rhonda Parmer is the former associate superintendent for campus development at Pasadena Independent School District. In this Model PLC at Work® district, she led campuses at all levels through the change process. She helped leaders create a culture conducive to collaboration and collective commitments, ultimately increasing student achievement. Dr. Parmer is the author of several books and is recognized as a leading expert in simplifying systems for leaders and departments.
Dr. Parmer was honored as the Texas Elementary National Distinguished Principal during her tenure at Pasadena ISD, and her school consistently ranked among the top 10 in the state. Her commitment to education is further demonstrated by her involvement in various educational organizations and committees, where she has served as chairman of the education committee for the Lone Star Flight Museum and as president of the Pasadena Rotary. She has also been a member of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, the Worldwide Women’s Association, and is a Life Member of the University of Houston’s alumni association.
Dr. Parmer earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston and honed her skills by pursuing a master's and doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
