Rob Feltner

Rob Feltner is the regional executive director for Lake County Schools in Florida. An educator for more than 28 years, he has been an elementary school teacher, assistant principal, and high school principal. He is also a nationally certified principal supervisor through the American Association of School Administrators (AASA).

In Rob’s current role, he oversees 14 elementary, middle, and high schools, working with building leaders and leadership teams to improve student achievement and overall school culture. As a building leader, he created a freshman academy that focused on graduation from the moment students entered high school in ninth grade. He also organized a commitment-to-graduate ceremony and built an intervention/acceleration block that captured students’ struggles in real time.

Rob is a proven leader who creates a culture of learning for all students. In 2017, he was recognized by Clay County District Schools for significant improvements in student achievement and learning gains during his time as principal of Middleburg High School. He has also been recognized for successfully completing the Dr. Brian Dassler Leadership Academy and the AASA National Principal Supervisor Academy.

Rob earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Jacksonville University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Saint Leo University.
