Jennifer Parker, EdD, brings over three decades of experience as an educator, school leader, county consultant, state project lead, and faculty member, with expertise spanning instructional technology, coaching, and school improvement. Today, as an educational consultant, she facilitates professional learning on instructional coaching, AI strategy and implementation, and data-driven continuous improvement. Her AI workshops focus on creating district-to-classroom policies that balance purpose with AI literacy, ethics, academic integrity, and data privacy.

Jennifer Parker

Dr. Jennifer Parker is a nationally recognized presenter and EdTech innovator who has earned prestigious honors including ISTE Certified Educator, ISTE Digital Leader of the Year Award, and Tech & Learning Honoree distinction. Her recent book, Making the Move with EdTech (2023, Solution Tree), earned the Independent Book Publishers Association Benjamin Franklin Silver Award.

With more than 15 years in higher education centered on teaching and learning, Dr. Parker has worked as a faculty development coordinator and taught at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. Today, as an educational consultant and AI implementation strategist, she helps districts design comprehensive AI policies for classrooms, buildings, and systems—ensuring ethical, effective integration of emerging technologies. She leads professional development programs on AI literacy, equipping educators to critically evaluate AI tools and apply them responsibly in instruction. Her popular AI institute focuses on creating district-to-classroom policies that balance innovation with ethics, privacy, and literacy.

Dr. Parker co-created the TCPI Model, which organizes technology use into purposeful categories, and developed the FLUF(F) Test for GenAI critical evaluation and prompt writing. She also examines adult learning theory in the generative AI era and co-developed the EMP Model, a framework for fostering emerging, mentee, and peer learning through an andragogical lens. Her contributions to adult learning, educational technology, and instructional coaching are widely recognized in academic circles.

She holds a bachelor's degree in education, a master's in library media, and a doctorate in education from Central Michigan University. She also has a master's degree in business education from Eastern Michigan University.
