James Rawls serves as a principal in a large metropolitan school district in Georgia. His passion for education is evident through his experience of more than 20 years in the field.

Hiawatha Smith, PhD, is an associate professor of literacy education. Prior to his work preparing educators to teach literacy, Hiawatha worked as a classroom teacher and an instructional coach.

Sheline Miller is a high school vice principal and was the former learning coach for the Washington County School District in Utah, where she successfully worked with teachers and teams to help establish professional learning community practices.

Deb Page, owner and president of the Institute for Performance Improvement, develops and certifies professionals in fields such as education. A former educator and executive, she coauthored The School Improvement Specialist Field Guide and advances collaborative learning and performance.

Judith Hale, PhD, has worked with the public and private sectors across all industries, specializing in performance improvement, certification, and assessment. Her professional focus has been, and continues to be, on the development of performance-based and portfolio-based assessments.

Shan Jorgenson-Adam, MEd, is president of JAM Consulting in Camrose, Alberta. With over 30 years in education, she partners with schools across Canada to strengthen leadership, culture, and teaching through coaching, mentorship, and professional learning.
