Keri Rathbun

Keri Rathbun, EdD, is the director of coordinated school health and career counseling at Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She has worked in education for more than 20 years and served as an administrator at the middle and high school levels. She has also worked as a K–12 school counselor and was a National Board Certified Teacher in school counseling. She believes in focusing on the whole child and excels in working with teachers and school leaders to increase student achievement through the PLC process.

As the previous principal of Northside High School, Dr. Rathbun worked with her guiding coalition to become the first Model PLC at Work® high school in the state of Arkansas in 2020. In 2021, Northside High School was selected by the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education to participate in its PLC at Work Cohort 4. Northside High School is recognized as an Arkansas-designated School of Innovation. Dr. Rathbun was also named Arkansas State Principal of the Year in 2022.

Dr. Rathbun is a member of Arkansas’s state guiding coalition, which is focused on developing PLCs throughout the state.

She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Arkansas Tech University and is an Arkansas Master Principal.
