Renee Tristan is an English language arts content specialist for Tomball Independent School District in Northwest Houston, TX. As an instructional leader and literacy coach, her work focuses on the implementation of standards-aligned teaching and higher levels of literacy for all students.

Allison Zamarripa is an educator, consultant, and advocate for building capacity and collective efficacy with teachers. She has over 18 years of experience as a middle school teacher, instructional coach, and district literacy specialist in a recognized Model PLC at Work® district.

George Georgiou, a University of Alberta professor, focuses on reading and literacy development. He leads the J. P. Das Centre on Developmental and Learning Disabilities and is an award-winning scholar and Royal Society of Canada member.
