Brandon Eighmy

Brandon Eighmy, EdD, is recognized for leading highly focused work with district and building leaders, as well as teacher teams, through attentive listening and skillful facilitation. He guides professional dialogue with calmness and clarity, using authentic examples to ensure the purpose is well understood and efforts translate into meaningful action. Currently the director of school improvement in the Carlisle Community School District, a nationally recognized Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) at Work® district, Dr. Eighmy has spent 25 years developing and sustaining systems that advance student achievement.

With over a dozen years of experience as a district-level administrator and nine years as a building-level principal, he has built human capital protocols and created systems and structures that are proven to be effective. Brandon works with districts serving a few hundred students to districts serving tens of thousands of students. He understands the challenges of leading high-functioning organizations and knows the strategies necessary to build sustainable systems at scale.

Dr. Eighmy earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Central College, a master’s degree in school leadership from Baker University, and specialist and doctorate degrees from Drake University.
