Coaching changes people, and people change schools. This two-day S.I.M.P.L.E. Blueprint for Instructional Coaching™ workshop gives your team protected time to step back, get clear on the vision for coaching, and build a teacher support system that works.
Across two days, we walk through the entire S.I.M.P.L.E. Blueprint for Instructional Coaching™ framework and connect each letter to the daily work of leaders, coaches, and teachers. We start with the big picture so everyone can see how coaching, professional learning, and leadership fit together. Then we slow down and take each letter one at a time, pausing for honest team reflection after every section.
As we move through the framework, we talk about how to set a clear vision for coaching, how to invite teachers into the work in a way that builds trust, how to measure the impact of coaching without turning it into evaluation, and how to provide layered support for teachers from classroom foundations to instructional execution. By the end of day two, you and your team will use the S.I.M.P.L.E. Blueprint for Instructional Coaching™ to choose priorities, name roles, and build a practical implementation plan you can start using as soon as you return to school.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Define a clear, shared vision for instructional coaching using the S I M P L E Blueprint as the foundation
- Clarify how coaching fits with existing initiatives, professional learning, and leadership priorities in their school or district
- Identify concrete ways to invite teachers into coaching and grow genuine buy-in over time
- Use practical tools to measure whether coaching is making an impact on teaching practice and student learning
- Plan layered support for teachers that addresses classroom organization, management and culture, content, and instructional execution
- Design structures that help teachers move from planning to strong instructional implementation in the classroom
- Outline a collaborative team model that brings leaders, coaches, and teachers together around shared goals
- Develop a realistic implementation plan for the next 90 days that includes focus areas, roles, and first steps aligned to the S I M P L E Blueprint
Participants will leave with shared language, practical tools, and a living plan they can bring back to their teams.
