Robin Noble

Robin Noble is an author, consultant, and presenter with more than 30 years of experience in education. She has served as an elementary school principal, district instructional coach, middle school English teacher, and special education teacher. Most recently, Robin was the principal of a K–5 elementary school servicing a predominantly Mexican-immigrant, English-language-learner, low-socioeconomic population.

During her tenure as principal, she successfully led the school through the federally funded Turnaround Model of reform, using the PLC process as the foundation for their work. The school significantly increased proficiency rates and, after being named the ninth-lowest-performing school in the state just three years earlier, was recognized by the New Mexico Public Education Department as a Top Growth School in 2012. In addition, Robin was recognized with the Award for Student Achievement by the New Mexico School Board Association for her work with her school community and the advancements in student achievement.

Robin specializes in establishing a foundation of professional learning communities to usher in influential changes in schools. Her consulting focuses on the importance of creating a culture of high expectations for student learning, developing common language and commitments toward this goal, and facilitating the development of values and systems that lead to effective collaboration, evidence-based learning, and increases in student achievement. Robin also works with educators to help restore a sense of hope and empowerment in their professional lives by developing pathways toward autonomy, competence, and relatedness in the educational setting.

She received her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Central Florida and her master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of New Mexico.
