Brittany Mozingo has more than a decade of experience as an educator in at-risk schools. She is currently the instructional coach at Fern Creek High School, a DuFour Award–winning school in Louisville, Kentucky.

Aline Zghayyar Abassian, PhD, is an instructor of mathematics education at the University of Central Florida. She teaches mathematics education courses to prospective elementary and secondary teachers.

Makini Sutherland, EdD, is a mathematics educator with experience at the elementary, high school, and collegiate level. She has also facilitated training elementary teachers for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Jamaica mathematics project.

Whitney K. Freije is an elementary school principal at A.F. Palmer Elementary, a Model PLC at Work® school in the Windsor Central School District, located in upstate New York. She specializes in empowering teachers with effective instructional practices to promote high levels of literacy and mathematics.

Ashley Mistretta is a K–8 mathematics specialist and is currently working as an instructional coach at Rose Hill Elementary School, part of Fairfax County Public Schools.

Scot Curran is an elementary instructional teacher on special assignment who specializes in cultivating a professional learning community culture by supporting collaborative teacher teams, school leadership teams, and district stakeholders.

Cory A. Bennett, PhD, is a passionate educator who supports teachers and teacher leaders to create learning-centered experiences for all students by focusing on improving instructional and assessment practices.

Jonathan Ferris is a program coordinator at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, British Columbia, where he oversees practicum placements for teacher candidates, supervises faculty mentors, and teaches courses on classroom management, professionalism, ethics, and teacher presence.

Amber G. Candela is an associate professor of mathematics education at the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). She teaches mathematics methods classes for prospective elementary, middle, and high school teachers in the teacher education program at UMSL.
