Jane Pedersen, EdD, is the assistant director of educational services at Kildeer Countryside School District 96 in Illinois. She has previously served District 96 as an elementary school assistant principal and a school psychologist.
Jane Pedersen, EdD, is the assistant director of educational services at Kildeer Countryside School District 96 in Illinois. In her role, she works with special education programming, early childhood curriculum and assessment, Section 504 compliance, and multitiered systems of support. Dr. Pedersen has previously served District 96 as an elementary school assistant principal and a school psychologist.
Dr. Pedersen has presented on the topic of special education at national conferences, including the annual conferences of the Council for Exceptional Children and the Council of Administration for Special Education.
She received her EdD in curriculum and social inquiry, her master’s degree in educational psychology, and her educational specialist degree in school psychology, all from National-Louis University. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
