Grounded in the science of reading and system-level change, participants will learn how to make data-driven decisions and build collaborative teams that sustain improvement over time.

This two-day workshop empowers teachers and school leaders with an understanding of the Dirigo Literacy framework of The Upward Spiral of Literacy. Participants will leave with an understanding of the general tenets of the science of reading and reading development. Through examining evidence-based literacy practices, participants will understand how to propel students’ reading motivation and achievement, as well as understand the school and community-based contexts that influence literacy.
