Ensure your school district is doing the right work, the right way, for the right reasons. In this highly interactive workshop, Janel Keating will demonstrate how to align the work of every PLC team districtwide—from the boardroom to the classroom.

Discover the four types of teams (and how they can work together) and learn the role the district office plays in supporting successful PLC at Work® implementation and school improvement efforts. You’ll acquire tools and practices to achieve continuous improvement in a top-down, bottom-up cyclical process.

Janel will also highlight the critical role of principals, who lead with the essential standard and four critical questions of learning as their guide. Specific tools for principals will be provided.

Participants will:

  • View and examine videos of all four critical teams in the district
  • Study real-life examples and artifacts of best practices in action related to collaboration and improving student learning
  • Learn how to establish collaboration expectations and evaluate timelines to optimize time and productivity during collaboration
  • Discover a process for establishing a districtwide guaranteed and viable curriculum
  • Acquire strategies for analyzing student learning and making data-informed decisions
  • Work with protocols and templates to move student learning forward
