"Every superintendent, principal, and teacher is in a leadership position. Don’t ask if you are leading. You are. Don’t ask if you will make a difference. You will. The question is, 'What kind of leader will you be, and what kind of difference will you make?'"

—Richard DuFour and Robert J. Marzano, Leaders of Learning, p. 208

Improvement in schools starts with teachers and administrators collectively focused on bringing all students to higher levels of learning. Without this collaborative effort, schools cannot see progress, especially those that have limited or no achievement gains (flatlined data).

In this workshop, the presenter shares a clear path to continuous improvement, and teachers and administrators discover how to work together as teams of leaders to create systematic processes and implement best practices that ensure the learning of every student.

  • Learn how to drive increased academic achievement for all students.
  • Develop ways to plan for structural changes that improve school cultures.
  • Gain steps for creating common assessments that enhance learning and align with state and national standards.
  • Determine how collaborative teams can plan for a guaranteed and viable curriculum.
  • Explore ways to gather and analyze data to examine instructional practices and inform next steps for learning.
  • Create action steps for immediate implementation.
